Powerful beer pleasure for men

The traditional Romanian beer brand ‘Neumarkt’ (named after the place of origin Tîrgu Mureș, in German language ‘Neumarkt am Mieresch’ in Transylvania) stands for forceful and harsh beer consumption and for years it has been enjoying great popularity on the Romanian market.
Especially men love the distinctive, bitter taste of hops.

With this background Pichler & Gattringer created a redesign of logo and packaging where the principal tasks were to provide better readability of the ‘Neumarkt’ lettering, to point out the use of local resources as hops from the Mures region and to give the brand a slight rejuvenation.

The result was a moderate brush up preserving the identity and simplicity of this popular beer brand, conveying the character of a dry-bitter beer.
